Academic Profile
As described in its mandate, the University of the Aegean is a university which embodies a unique structure which combines campuses across six islands (in 2009 a new academic unit was created on the island of Lemnos) of the Aegean Sea. Its research focus spans across a number of diverse disciplines - Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Sociology, Shipping and Educational Design.
