Awards
UDECU has received the National Collegiate EMS Foundation's Striving for Excellence award in 1999, 2002, 2005 and 2009 and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians' Leo R. Schwartz Emergency Medical Service of the Year Award in 2002. In 2009, UDECU won first place in the National Collegiate EMS Foundation's EMS Skills Competition.
