The University of Calgary recognizes Aboriginal students, and has instituted an Aboriginal Admissions Policy and Aboriginal Student Access Program (ASAP), as dictated in the Undergraduate Admissions section of the annual calendar. Any student with Aboriginal ancestry (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) and legal status may apply and be considered under the policy.
