2007 IFAF World Cup

The United States competed for the first time in the 2007 IFAF World Cup. The team's first ever game was a 77–0 smashing of South Korea in the first round of the tournament. In the second round the USA defeated Germany 33–7. They played Japan on July 15 for the championship and beat the two-time defending champions in a difficult game after double overtime 23–20, taking the World Cup title with a perfect 3–0 record.
