Famous quotes containing the words countries and/or involved:

Do not require a description of the countries towards which you sail. The description does not describe them to you, and to- morrow you arrive there, and know them by inhabiting them.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

As she laughed I was aware of becoming involved in her laughter
and being part of it, until her teeth were only accidental stars with
    a talent for squad-drill.
    —T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
