The successful establishment of the state University was the befitting culmination of a comprehensive programme of rehabilitation,renovation,upgrading, expansion and provision of higher quality education embarked by the Umaru Yar'adua administration.
Umar Musa Yar'Adua University is ranked 65 in Nigeria according to National Universities Commission, the universities regulatory body in Nigeria.
