Loss of Citizenship
The citizenship may be lost in the following cases:
- renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship is permitted by law.
- voluntarily acquires a foreign citizenship.
- enrolling for military service, security service, law enforcement activities, judicial bodies, or other bodies of state power of a foreign state
The decision on involuntary termination of Ukrainian citizenship must be taken by the President of Ukraine.
