The Udyan Express is a nice train to observe the crowded commuter trains of Bombay during the morning rush hours and to explore the hinterlands of rural Maharashtra and Karnataka. Similarly, the train returns as the 16530 (Up) Bangalore--Bombay Udyan Express which leaves Bangalore City at 20:10 p.m. and reaches Bombay VT at 19:50 p.m. the next day. The train is known reliability despite the large number of halts in comparison with other important trains on the Solapur--Bangalore sector.
