UCAR Point Of Presence

The UCAR Point of Presence (UPoP) is a point of presence operating out of Colorado, linking universities, K-12 public schools, non-profit corporations, and government agencies in order to share Wide Area Networking (WAN) services, access to the commodity Internet, access to the Internet2 (I2)research network, and access to the National LambdaRail. NCAR/UCAR provides the engineering and Network Operations Center support for the UPoP.
