uBid.com announced in February 2011 the formation of uBid.com Business, which is the company's B-to-B arm, providing revenue from SMB, government, education and other business customers.

According to State of Illinois court records, in March 2011 a wrongful termination suit alleging racial discrimination, allegedly starting around 2003, among other counts were brought by Jeanice Owens, a former employee at most recently Enable Holdings Inc., against co-founder Tim Takesue and former VP of Technology Amy Powers and have been dismissed in favor of both Takesue and Powers. The case has reopened and another case involving former employee Jeanice Owens has been re-filed alleging essentially the same claims as the original case that was previously dismissed with prejudice in Takesue's favor. The new refiled case in July 2012 was recently dismissed again in September 2012 again in Takesue's favor. The other former corporate officer was Amy Powers, under Enable Holding's ownership of the platform, the VP of Technology' which was also dismissed in favor of Powers with prejudice. Also, according to State of Illinois Court records both Mr. Takesue and Ms. Powers defended themselves Pro Se.
