Tyne Theatre Stage School is a stage school in the North East of England, situated at Newcastle College's Rye Hill Campus, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Tyne Theatre Stage School has been providing first class performing arts training in Dance, Acting and Singing in the North East region for over twenty years for children aged 3–18. Since opening, our classes have been located in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, providing the best studio and performance facilities. They encourage pupils to experience the joy of engaging with a live audience, and provide vast opportunities for all pupils to perform. They offer dance lessons in Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft, Modern Jazz, Cheerleading and Freestyle Disco. All dance subjects are taught to the standards of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), along with a Musical Theatre programme. Our acting curriculum follows the syllabus of the London Academy of Music and Drama Art (LAMDA), and singing lessons are taught to Trinity Guildhall Singing standards.

Famous quotes containing the words theatre, stage and/or school:
“Our instructed vagrancy, which has hardly time to linger by the hedgerows, but runs away early to the tropics, and is at home with palms and banyanswhich is nourished on books of travel, and stretches the theatre of its imagination to the Zambesi.”
—George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)
“I have come to believe ... that the stage may do more than teach, that much of our current moral instruction will not endure the test of being cast into a lifelike mold, and when presented in dramatic form will reveal itself as platitudinous and effete. That which may have sounded like righteous teaching when it was remote and wordy will be challenged afresh when it is obliged to simulate life itself.”
—Jane Addams (18601935)
“Their school a crowd, his master solitude;
Through Jonathan Swifts dark grove he passed, and there
Plucked bitter wisdom that enriched his blood.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
