Two A-Holes - Mike and Lexie

Mike and Lexie

A Fred Armisen and Scarlett Johansson sketch. Debuted January 14, 2006. Each installment of this sketch aired on an episode hosted by Scarlett Johansson, who played Lexie, with the exception of the October 3, 2009 episode, hosted by Ryan Reynolds, which featured Johansson (then married to Reynolds) in cameo. Mike (Armisen) and his daughter Lexie (Johansson) present a crudely produced and choppily delivered advertisement for their boutique specializing in some gaudy item, claiming that if you display one of the gaudy items they sell in your home, "people will think you're a millionaire or somethin'".

Episodes:

  • January 14, 2006 - Selling Chandeliers. (In this installment of the sketch only, Rachel Dratch played Toni, Mike's wife and Lexie's mom. While Mike introduced her by name at the beginning of the sketch, she had only one line: with the character slightly missing her cue in the poorly produced commercial and blurting out, "Ya gotta get a chandeleeah!", at the very end.)
  • April 27, 2007 - Selling Marble Columns.
  • October 3, 2009 - Selling Porcelain Fountains. (Ryan Reynolds played Lexie's husband Nick, who Mike had recently hired to install the fountains. Scarlett Johansson appeared in cameo as Lexie.)
  • November 13, 2010 - Selling Ceramic Busts.
