Tuscan Gorgia

The Tuscan gorgia (Italian Gorgia toscana, "Tuscan throat") is a phonetic phenomenon which characterizes the Tuscan dialects, in Tuscany, Italy, most especially the central ones, with Florence traditionally viewed as the center.
