Truong Gia Binh was married to Vo Hanh Phuc, the daughter of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a Vietnam People's Army general who rose to fame during the Vietnam War. The couple had one daughter. After the divorce with Phuc, Binh married Nguyen Tuyet Mai.
