Joining the West Sydney Razorbacks mid-season in 07/08 as an import player DeVries has been influential in getting the Razorbacks off the bottom of the ladder. He is in the top 20 in the league for 3-pt % with 42.8, is averaging 43.p from the field, 75.5 from the strike and is averaging 16.7 ppg in 27.8 per game.
DeVries will return to the Australian NBL in 2010, after signing with the Adelaide 36ers for the 2010/11 season. On December 13, 2010, it was announced DeVries had been cut by the 36ers.
