Musical Use
The English guitar manufacturer Shergold/Hayman used Obeche as body wood in some of their 1970s models. Gibson is now using Obeche for the fingerboard of certain Les Paul models. Fender Japan introduced three limited edition guitars with Ayous bodies in 2013.
