Triple Marathon

The Triple Marathon is part of the fundraising program of The Rainforest Foundation. Individuals or teams can sign up to run 3 international marathons in a year. Flight, hotel and race entry fees are covered by the charity in return for a minimum level of sponsorship.

The 3 suggested marathons are Thai Temples, London and New York, but these may be amended if the runner(s) have a desire to enter a particular race.

Famous quotes containing the words triple and/or marathon:

Their martyred blood and ashes sow
O’er all the Italian fields where still doth sway
The triple tyrant; that from these may grow
A hundredfold, who, having learnt thy way,
Early may fly the Babylonian woe.
    John Milton (1608–1674)

... marathon swimming is the most difficult physical, intellectual and emotional battleground I have encountered, and each time I win, each time I touch the other shore, I feel worthy of any other challenge life has to offer.
    Diana Nyad (b. 1949)
