Recent Form
The main competitions for Cambridge College rowing crews are the two annual bumps races: The Lent Bumps, held at the end of Lent term and the May Bumps, held at the end of Easter term. The following are tables of the last decade of results for the Trinity Hall first boat, i.e. the fastest of the club's boats. In these results 'bumped' means to move up a place and 'bumped by' means to move down a place.

Famous quotes containing the word form:
“Every New Englander might easily raise all his own breadstuffs in this land of rye and Indian corn, and not depend on distant and fluctuating markets for them. Yet so far are we from simplicity and independence that, in Concord, fresh and sweet meal is rarely sold in the shops, and hominy and corn in a still coarser form are hardly used by any.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“Once one is caught up into the material world not one person in ten thousand finds the time to form literary taste, to examine the validity of philosophic concepts for himself, or to form what, for lack of a better phrase, I might call the wise and tragic sense of life.”
—F. Scott Fitzgerald (18961940)
