Personal Life
Hansen and his wife LaRee Merrell Hansen, founded the Little Heroes Foundation in 2007. They have two sons and one daughter. Hansen retired from professional basketball in September of 2011. He is Chairman of the Little Heroes Foundation and sits on various boards of non-profit foundations and organizations. He also writes for the Deseret News in a bi-monthly column called "Talkin' with Trav".
