Personal Life
Torquil Campbell was born in Sheffield, England and came to Canada in childhood with his family. he is the son of actors, the late Douglas Campbell and Moira Wylie.
He attended and graduated from Jarvis Collegiate Institute in Toronto.
Torquil's father recorded the famous intro of the song Your Ex-Lover is Dead on the Stars album, Set Yourself on Fire. The exact words of the intro are: "When there is nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire."
Torquil is married to actress Moya O'Connell, who gave birth to their first child, daughter Ellington Beatrice Pepper Campbell, in 2009.
