Boundaries
It is located in the west of the county of Kent in south eastern England and includes the area of Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council as well as parts of Sevenoaks District which were incorporated in 1997. Towns include Tonbridge, Edenbridge and West Malling.
The Tonbridge and Malling seat was not as severely affected as others after the Fifth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, with the following electoral wards used in the formation of the modified constituency:
- From the borough of Tonbridge and Malling: Borough Green and Long Mill, Cage Green, Castle, Downs, East Malling, East Peckham and Golden Green, Hadlow, Mereworth and West Peckham, Higham, Hildenborough, Ightham, Judd, Kings Hill, Medway, Trench, Vauxhall, Wateringbury, West Malling and Leybourne and Wrotham
- From Sevenoaks District: Cowden and Hever, Edenbridge North and East, Edenbridge South and West, Leigh and Chiddingstone Causeway, Penshurst, and Fordcombe and Chiddingstone
