Tommy Maher
Monsignor Tommy Maher (born 25 April 1922 in Thomastown, County Kilkenny) is a retired Irish hurling coach and former player. He played hurling with his local club Thomastown and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team in the 1940s. Maher, who also served as a Roman Catholic priest and teacher, also coached Kilkenny to seven senior All-Ireland titles between 1957 and 1978.
