Thomas William "Tom" Newey (born 31 October 1982 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scunthorpe United in Football League One. Newey plays primarily as a left-back but can also operate as a centre half, he has previously played for Leeds United, Cambridge United, Darlington, Leyton Orient, Grimsby Town, Rochdale, Bury and most recently Rotherham United.
