In 2011, the Occupy Wall Street Movement went global. This campaign was born in New York City with the help of Times Up! volunteers, who assisted in organizing this movement. Times Up! helped with the sustainability and environmental education portions of the movement.
As the movement continued, people living in Zuccotti Park needed their bikes to be repaired. Time’s Up! brought tools and parts to hold free fix-your-bike workshops.
One of Time's Up's events is the annual Occupy Fountain Ride. In the upcoming summer of 2012 they will be holding their 4th annual Fountain Ride. Time's Up! utilizes privately owned public spaces, such as Zuccotti Park, that contain fountains by swimming in them.

Famous quotes containing the words occupy, wall and/or street:
“Being a parent is a form of leadership. . . . Parents make a mistake, along with leaders of organizations, when they are unwilling to recognize the power inherent in the positions they occupy and when they are unwilling to use this power. . . . I do not mean a figure who is irrational, autocratic, or sadistic. I mean leaders who have the strength of character to stand up for what they believe.”
—Abraham Zaleznik. In Support of Families, ed. Michael W. Yogman and T. Berry Brazelton, ch. 8 (1986)
“The whole land seems aroused to discussion on the province of woman, and I am glad of it. We are willing to bear the brunt of the storm, if we can only be the means of making a break in that wall of public opinion which lies right in the way of womans rights, true dignity, honor and usefulness.”
—Angelina Grimké (18051879)
“Christopher Cross: You shouldnt be alone in the street so late at night.
Kitty March: I was coming home from work.
Christopher Cross: You work this late?
Kitty March: Mmm, hmmm.
Christopher Cross: What do you do?
Kitty March: Guess.
Christopher Cross: Youre an actress.
Kitty March: Oh, you are clever!”
—Dudley Nichols (18951960)
