1920s-30s
Experimental TV broadcasts began as early as 1929 in Melbourne on stations 3DB and 3UZ using the Radiovision system by Gilbert Miles and Donal McDonald. Other experimental transmissions followed in other cities, such as Brisbane in 1934 by amateur station VK4CM.
