Time in Saskatchewan

Time In Saskatchewan

Most of Saskatchewan observes Central Standard Time (CST). However, since it is situated completely within the Mountain Time Zone, daylight saving time is effectively in place year round. Saskatchewan does not change its clocks back in winter.

The city of Lloydminster is the only exception to this arrangement: it is located in the neighbouring Mountain Time Zone to the West, one hour behind CST. However since Lloydminster does change its clocks, the time in Saskatchewan is the same in all parts of the province during the summer months.

Famous quotes containing the words time in and/or time:

We have not the motive to prepare ourselves for a “life-work” of teaching, of social work—we know that we would lay it down with hallelujah in the height of our success, to make a home for the right man. And all the time in the background of our consciousness rings the warning that perhaps the right man will never come. A great love is given to very few. Perhaps this make-shift time filler of a job is our life work after all.
    Ruth Benedict (1887–1948)

Words, words, words! They shut one off from the universe. Three quarters of the time one’s never in contact with things, only with the beastly words that stand for them.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
