Time Force Power Rangers - Alex

Alex is the former Red Time Force Ranger, and Jen's former fiance. He's a genetic great grandson of Wesley Collins. However, this descendancy doesn't seem to be direct as Alex existed in a timeline where Wesley has been killed in 2001 and seems to have left no children. He was supposedly killed by Ransik in the first episode, but later returned after the "timeline had shifted", taking the Red Ranger powers back. Apparently he hadn't been killed but barely survived. He was known for doing everything by the book, and was obsessed with his job and when he returned, was obsessed with restoring the future to the way it was. The other Rangers asked him to give the Powers back to Wes, who could inspire the team as Alex could not during the battle with Dragontron who he could not defeat. After Wes saved them from Frax and destroyed the energy siphon Alex was trying to take out, he reluctantly handed his Morpher over to Wes. Unlike Alex, Wes was easily able to defeat Dragontron by using a method that wasn't by the book. The team also didn't question his methods unlike Alex who they questioned all the time after his return. Afterwards, he realized that Wes was right about the future, that it could be changed and doing the right thing and presumably not what the rules would have him do, he saved Wes' father's life when Alex had earlier revealed that he was fated to die. When Jen was in trouble, Circuit contacted him and he sent Wes the Strata Cycle, telling Wes that Wes needed to protect Jen for him since he wasn't there, showing that despite the cold way he'd treated Jen when he came to the past, he still loved her. When the Rangers were forced to return to the future by Wes after learning that they would die in battle, Alex reveals to them that Wes will die in the battle to defeat Ransik and takes them to have their memories of the past wiped. Ultimately the Rangers decide to go back and help Wes though Alex is against it. Jen, who now loves Wes, returned Alex's engagement ring to him and left to save the man she truly loved. Realizing this and unable to stop her, Alex told the Rangers to use the Time Force Megazord in Jet Mode to reach the past instead of the Time Ship as the Megazord had the best chance of making it through the vortex when things were so unstable in the past.

On occasion, he has secretly helped the rangers from a small dark room in Time Force HQ. He sends the Time Shadow (and possibly controlled it) from this command system and keeps a close eye on the "past"; he may have also been behind Eric's Mega Battle mode. He also gave Wes the Strata Cycle when he needed an edge over a mutant that had Jen in trouble. Most of his appearances on the show were as the mysterious man in the dark room secretly helping the Rangers until he came to the past and revealed himself to the Rangers (and his identity to the audience).
