Choir and MPA Concerts/Performances
In March 2010, Timber Creek Freshmamas (Freshwomen Choir) received straight superiors at MPA. This was the first time a freshmen choir got straight superiors at Timber Creek. They performed the German piece "Wenn Ich Ein Vöglein Wär" and an English song called "Psalm 100".

Famous quotes containing the words choir, concerts and/or performances:
“As night is withdrawn
From these sweet-springing meads and bursting boughs of May,
Dream, while the innumerable choir of day
Welcome the dawn.”
—Robert Bridges (18441930)
“If you love music, hear it; go to operas, concerts and pay fiddlers to play to you; but I insist on your neither piping nor fiddling yourself. It puts a gentleman in a very frivolous, contemptible light.... Few things would mortify me more than to see you bearing a part in a concert, with a fiddle under your chin, or a pipe in your mouth.”
—Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (16941773)
“At one of the later performances you asked why they called it a miracle,
Since nothing ever happened. That, of course, was the miracle
But you wanted to know why so much action took on so much life
And still managed to remain itself, aloof, smiling and courteous.”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
