Tim O'Leary - Time in Prison

Time in Prison

When Tim appeared in court he pleaded guilty to all charges and was sent to prison. Later Emily was sentenced to community service by a juvenile court. At first Tim found it difficult to adjust to prison life and soon had a confrontation with another prisoner Sotto who tried to intimidate him. Tim soon made Sotto realise he couldn't be bullied and before long he had gained the respect of many of the prisoners.

Meanwhile Emily wanted to earn extra money so that she and Tim could get married after his release. Carl took advantage of this and persuaded her to pose topless for some magazine photos. Emily had second thought afterwards and with Nikki's help called on Carl to demand the negatives.

Although Emily thought she had all the photos, one still found its way into a girlie magazine. It was not long before a copy of this magazine arrived at Tim's prison, and the other prisoners took great delight in tormenting Tim about it. Tim was furious with Emily but eventually he forgave her. Upon release, Tim made Carl refund the money Emily paid to pose for the photos.

Famous quotes containing the words time in, time and/or prison:

Under the species of Syndicalism and Fascism there appears for the first time in Europe a type of man who does not want to give reasons or to be right, but simply shows himself resolved to impose his opinions.
    José Ortega Y Gasset (1883–1955)

I have no time to read newspapers. If you chance to live and move and have your being in that thin stratum in which the events which make the news transpire—thinner than the paper on which it is printed—then these things will fill the world for you; but if you soar above or dive below that plane, you cannot remember nor be reminded of them.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

If you’re born in America with a black skin, you’re born in prison, and the masses of black people in America today are beginning to regard our plight or predicament in this society as one of a prison inmate.
    Malcolm X (1925–1965)
