From Thottiyam a small beautiful village is present, that one is 5 km away from this place. The name of that place is Elurpatti. Here we can find lake, Lord Siva Temple, Karupusami temple and near one beautiful village there. The village name Poosaripaniyur is a rural village approximately 500 families living that village and it's have a huge perumal temple in the forest. Every year October month the village people go to the forest. The People walked upwards up to 15 KMs ( up to 4 hours). In that way huge stones and plant formed. It's very dangerous path but people likely and hopefully do this one every year. While after reached people pray Perumal. The village people every year January month celebrating Pongal festival. In each family have a cow. Then the people clean the cow to celebrating the pooja and finally people pray for the cow.
