Rivalries
T.F. North has been well known for its never-ending rivalry against Thornton Fractional South High School which has gone on to be the largest known High School rivalry in the Chicagoland area, with T.F. South having a boulder on their front lawn, the idea taken from T.F. North's Mascot, The Meteor. Both battle every year for supremacy of the "Fractional Line" that separates the two schools in Calumet City & Lansing. It has been called the high school version of the Chicago Cubs (North Side) & Chicago White Sox (South Side) Rivalry.
