Thorncombe (/ˈθɔrnkəm/) is a village and civil parish in the English county of Dorset. It lies in the West Dorset administrative district of the county, five miles (8 km) south east of the town of Chard in neighbouring Somerset. Thorncombe is situated close to the borders of both Somerset and Devon. The civil parish has a population of 714 (As of 2001), and 8.4% of dwellings are second homes.
