DUAL CREDIT
There is also a dual credit program given by the Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) across the hill from Proctor. It gives a chance for students to take a community college class in high school and earn a college credit for it. They have to maintain a grade of 75 or above to be able to get a college credit for that class from MVCC. Some dual classes include Government, Economics, Statistics, etc.

Famous quotes containing the words dual and/or credit:
“Thee for my recitative,
Thee in the driving storm even as now, the snow, the winter-day
declining,
Thee in thy panoply, thy measurd dual throbbing and thy beat
convulsive,
Thy black cylindric body, golden brass and silvery steel,”
—Walt Whitman (18191892)
“The solar system has no anxiety about its reputation, and the credit of truth and honesty is as safe; nor have I any fear that a skeptical bias can be given by leaning hard on the sides of fate, of practical power, or of trade, which the doctrine of Faith cannot down-weigh.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
