Career
While still in undergraduate engineering college, Libertiny began his career as an entrepreneur by starting Tensor Systems, Inc. his first automotive component design firm in Michigan. Later he went on to serve as Manager of Finance and Engineering at AeroquipVicker's business incubator (now a part of the Eaton Corporation), helping to spin out a variety of new technologies and companies in the diverse fields of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and medical devices. With his background in new business ventures he then joined Prudential Securities and focused on the other side of the venture capital equation. This culminated with the founding of Libertiny Group which specializes in strategic management for businesses an not-for-profits as well as career coaching for executives.
