Famous quotes containing the words thirteenth, texas and/or legislature:

    The thirteenth fairy,
her fingers as long and thin as straws,
    her eyes burnt by cigarettes,
    her uterus an empty teacup,
    arrived with an evil gift.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

    Joseph Epstein (b. 1937)

    John Kenneth Galbraith (b. 1908)
