Assault Case
At 3am on 21 February 2010, McCabe broke a man's nose after he believed his girlfriend was insulted. Liverpool Crown Court heard that McCabe had headbutted Peter Appleby during a row outside Korova nightclub on Hope Street, Liverpool and on 22 September, he was found guilty of assault. Although he denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm and claimed he had acted in self-defence, he was later sentenced to 150 hours of community service and ordered to pay Appleby £1,500 in compensation.
