The West Indies Cricket Annual - Who's Who

Who's Who

From the 1973 edition a "West Indies Cricket Who's Who" was included. This included players who had represtenented the West Indies or one of the Territorial teams. Those who had only played in the Beaumont Cup (Texaco Cup) on Trinidad or the Jones Cup in Guyana were not included in the "Who's Who" even when these matches were first-class. Career figures were included in the "Who's Who".

Famous quotes containing the word who:

    A new talker will often call her caregiver “mommy,” which makes parents worry that the child is confused about who is who. She isn’t. This is a case of limited vocabulary rather than mixed-up identities. When a child has only one word for the female person who takes care of her, calling both of them “mommy” is understandable.
    Amy Laura Dombro (20th century)

    I can love both fair and brown;
    Her whom abundance melts, and her whom want betrays;
    Her who loves loneness best, and her who masks and plays;
    Her whom the country formed, and whom the town;
    Her who believes, and her who tries;
    Her who still weeps with spongy eyes;
    And her who is dry cork, and never cries.
    I can love her, and her, and you and you,
    I can love any, so she be not true.
    John Donne (1572–1631)
