"The Pegasus" is the 164th episode of the American syndicated science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, the 12th episode of the seventh season. It was directed by series castmember LeVar Burton (Chief Engineer Geordi La Forge).
In this episode, crew of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D attempt to recover the Pegasus, a Federation starship that contained experimental technology of vital strategic importance and was also the first assignment of Enterprise first officer, Commander William Riker.
