The Money Maze - Broadcast History

Broadcast History

ABC broadcast The Money Maze at 4:00 PM Eastern (3:00 Central), opposite Tattletales on CBS and Somerset on NBC; Money Maze did not perform well against either series in the ratings, and host Clooney claimed in a 1998 Cincinnati Post column that less than half of ABC's affiliates carried the show.

Famous quotes containing the words broadcast and/or history:

Radio news is bearable. This is due to the fact that while the news is being broadcast the disc jockey is not allowed to talk.
    Fran Lebowitz (b. 1951)

Throughout the history of commercial life nobody has ever quite liked the commission man. His function is too vague, his presence always seems one too many, his profit looks too easy, and even when you admit that he has a necessary function, you feel that this function is, as it were, a personification of something that in an ethical society would not need to exist. If people could deal with one another honestly, they would not need agents.
    Raymond Chandler (1888–1959)
