The Love Doctors

The Love Doctors is a radio show on WZZR Real Radio in West Palm Beach, Florida, that airs from 2 pm - 7 p.m. EST. Hosting the show is Rich Dickerson along with Glenn Curtis (Dr. Glenn) and as the co-hosts. Lexxus joined the show in 2006.

The show covers a wide variety of topics with Doctors Rich and Glenn taking unscreened calls from listeners on any topic the callers wish (provided it's airable, of course) until Dr Rich gets bored and tells them to shuffle off. Occasionally, the Love Doctors may play a comedy bit, such as Adam Sandler's "The Chanukah Song" or one in which Paul Harvey endorses bongs. The premise of the show is "never let the truth get in the way of a good story," and this premise is often put to good use over the course of the show.

Following the aftermath of Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne in 2004, many of WZZR's on-air personalities provided non-stop hurricane recovery coverage for three weeks, helping the hurricane-ravaged area with information such as where to get supplies, official statements and interviews with state of Florida representatives, etc.

Adding to the popularity of The Love Doctors radio show are the numerous controversial revelations made about the personal lives of the hosts.

Famous quotes containing the words love and/or doctors:

To say a man is fallen in love,—or that he is deeply in love,—or up to the ears in love ... carries an idiomatical kind of implication, that love is a thing below a man:Mthis is ... Plato’s opinion, which ... I hold to be damnable and heretical.
    Laurence Sterne (1713–1768)

Instead of wishing to see more doctors made by women joining what there are, I wish to see as few doctors, either male or female, as possible. For, mark you, the women have made no improvement—they have only tried to be “men” and they have only succeeded in being third-rate men.
    Florence Nightingale (1820–1910)
