The Keys To The Kingdom - The House and The Morrow Days

The House and The Morrow Days

The House is the second creation of the Architect and its purpose is to record and acknowledge the events of the Secondary Realms, essentially making it the epicentre of the Universe. The House is divided into seven parts, each ruled by a respective Trustee. Each is related to one of the seven deadly sins. These parts are:

  • The Lower House — Ruled by Mister Monday who is afflicted by Sloth
  • The Far Reaches — Ruled by Grim Tuesday who's afflicted by Greed
  • The Border Sea — Ruled by Drowned Wednesday who's afflicted by Gluttony
  • The Great Maze — Ruled by Sir Thursday who's afflicted by Wrath
  • The Middle House — Ruled by Lady Friday who's afflicted by Lust
  • The Upper House — Ruled by Superior Saturday who's afflicted by Envy
  • The Incomparable Gardens — Ruled by Lord Sunday who's afflicted by Pride

Famous quotes containing the words the house and, house, morrow and/or days:

It could be clearly proved that by a practical nullification [by the South] of the Fifteenth Amendment the Republicans have for several years been deprived of a majority in both the House and Senate. The failure of the South to faithfully observe the Fifteenth Amendment is the cause of the failure of all efforts towards complete pacification. It is on this hook that the bloody shirt now hangs.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)

The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
    Bible: New Testament, Luke 1:30-33.

Let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
    —Bible: Hebrew Isaiah 22:13.

Almost the same words are found in 1 Corinthians 15:32.

The days are ever divine as to the first Aryans. They are of the least pretension and of the greatest capacity of anything that exists. They come and go like muffled and veiled figures, sent from a distant friendly party; but they say nothing, and if we do not use the gifts they bring, they carry them as silently away.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
