The Keith Green Collection - Making of The Album

Making of The Album

This album was the first album by Green for which he did not partake in the production as he had with all of his previous releases. Bill Maxwell yet again took up the role of producing the album as he had done with all of Keith's prior works. The album was made over a span of several months during 1981.

Most of the tracks on The Keith Green Collection were previously released on Green albums. The exceptions— "Rushing Wind", "The Sheep and the Goats", and "Scripture Song Medley" — were recordings of live performances.

    Mao Zedong (1893–1976)

The whole land seems aroused to discussion on the province of woman, and I am glad of it. We are willing to bear the brunt of the storm, if we can only be the means of making a break in that wall of public opinion which lies right in the way of woman’s rights, true dignity, honor and usefulness.
    Angelina Grimké (1805–1879)

What a long strange trip it’s been.
Robert Hunter, U.S. rock lyricist. “Truckin’,” on the Grateful Dead album American Beauty (1971)
