The Keeper of Traken is the sixth serial of the 18th season in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was first broadcast in four weekly parts from January 31 to February 21, 1981. The story introduces Sarah Sutton as companion-to-be Nyssa and is the first appearance of Anthony Ainley as the Master.
