The Jeremy Kyle Show - U.S. Version

U.S. Version

In January 2010, ITV announced an agreement to take a pilot version of the show to the United States in 2010, in partnership with Lions Gate Entertainment subsidiary Debmar-Mercury. The pilot proved successful, and in November 2010, the U.S. version was picked up in 70% of the U.S. television markets, ahead of its September 19, 2011 debut. The first episode of the U.S. version was shown on ITV on 28 January 2012. Jeremy Kyle USA ran for 2 series, but in December 2012 it was announced it would not return for a third series due to low ratings and viewing figures.

Famous quotes containing the word version:

Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the sabbath day.
    Bible: Hebrew, Deuteronomy 5:15.

See Exodus 22:8 for a different version of this fourth commandment.

Truth cannot be defined or tested by agreement with ‘the world’; for not only do truths differ for different worlds but the nature of agreement between a world apart from it is notoriously nebulous. Rather—speaking loosely and without trying to answer either Pilate’s question or Tarski’s—a version is to be taken to be true when it offends no unyielding beliefs and none of its own precepts.
    Nelson Goodman (b. 1906)
