Plot Summary (original Edition)
In the original version of this story, the criminals are local Bayport hoods who team up with a former mail plane pilot in a plot to steal a large payroll.The boys are framed for stealing the mail and get bailed out of jail by Mr Applegate from Tower Treasure and Mr Jefferson from Cabin Island. They also graduate from high school.
