The Day Before You Came

"The Day Before You Came" is a song recorded and released by Swedish pop group ABBA, their second longest (behind Eagle) at almost 6:00 in length. It was originally released in 1982 as both a single, and a track on the compilation album The Singles: The First Ten Years. It is reportedly the final ABBA recording, however regardless of whether this is indeed true, it was not their final song to be released (the next single was "Under Attack", also featured on the album).

Famous quotes containing the words the day and/or day:

The day the world ends, no one will be there, just as no one was there when it began. This is a scandal. Such a scandal for the human race that it is indeed capable collectively, out of spite, of hastening the end of the world by all means just so it can enjoy the show.
    Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)

But one day he met a man who was a whole lot badder,
And now he’s dead, and we ain’t none the sadder.
—Administration in the State of Texa, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
