The Dawn and Drew Show

The Dawn and Drew Show is a podcast starring and produced by a married couple, Dawn Miceli (born in West Allis, Wisconsin) and Drew Domkus (formerly of the Scaterd Few). They just recently celebrated their 7th podcast anniversary. The couple moved back to their farmhouse in Wayne, WI after being robbed and nearly killed in their home in Cocles, Costa Rica. While they regroup and work up a gameplan, Dawn Miceli continues to tour with Rasputina (band) while Drew tries to learn how to make iPhone apps.

The show is described as "two ex gutter punks fall in love, buy a retired farm in Wisconsin and tell the world their dirty secrets... always profane, rarely profound." Dawn and Drew live with many pets including dogs, a cat, one sugar glider. The couple used to own Echo Books and Chocolate Lounge in Cocles, Costa Rica.

Famous quotes containing the words dawn, drew and/or show:

We must get back into relation, vivid and nourishing relation to the cosmos and the universe. The way is through daily ritual, and is an affair of the individual and the household, a ritual of dawn and noon and sunset, the ritual of the kindling fire and pouring water, the ritual of the first breath, and the last.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

As for types like my own, obscurely motivated by the conviction that our existence was worthless if we didn’t make a turning point of it, we were assigned to the humanities, to poetry, philosophy, painting—the nursery games of humankind, which had to be left behind when the age of science began. The humanities would be called upon to choose a wallpaper for the crypt, as the end drew near.
    Saul Bellow (b. 1915)

My attitude toward punctuation is that it ought to be as conventional as possible. The game of golf would lose a good deal if croquet mallets and billiard cues were allowed on the putting green. You ought to be able to show that you can do it a good deal better than anyone else with the regular tools before you have a license to bring in your own improvements.
    Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)
