A German translation was published in 1981 by Schneider-Buch with the title Doctor Who – Kampf um die Erde (Doctor Who — Struggle for the Earth) with cover illustration by David A. Hardy. A French translation by Ronald C. Wagner was published in 1987 under the title Docteur Who – Les Daleks envahissent la Terre (Doctor Who — The Daleks invade the Earth). Famous quotes containing the word print:

    What do I care
    that the stream is trampled,
    the sand on the stream-bank
still holds the print of your foot:
    the heel is cut deep.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)

    And so on into winter
    Till even I have ceased
To come as a foot printer,
    And only some slight beast
    So mousy or so foxy
Shall print there as my proxy.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
