The Big Bus

The Big Bus is a 1976 American comedy film starring Stockard Channing and Joe Bologna, and directed by James Frawley. A spoof of the disaster movie genre (which was popular at the time), it follows the maiden cross-country trip of an enormous nuclear powered bus named "Cyclops".

The Big Bus received mostly bad reviews and had a disastrous performance at the box office. Nevertheless, it has gained something of a cult following among fans of spoof comedies. It is rated PG.

Famous quotes containing the word big:

What did it matter where you lay once you were dead? In a dirty sump or in a marble tower on top of a high hill? You were dead, you were sleeping the big sleep, you were not bothered by things like that. Oil and water were the same as wind and air to you.
    Raymond Chandler (1888–1959)
