Organisation
Following the implementation of the Local Policing Model in April 2011, the force is split into fourteen Local Policing Areas (LPAs). These are coterminous with local authority boundaries. These in turn are split into a number of neighbourhoods which are coterminous with parish boundaries. This coterminosity is to ensure that local policing services are delivered in an accountable manner.
